Valentina Desideri and Denise Ferreira da Silva cultivate a collaborative practice informed by their research across philosophy, political theory and body-based knowledges. Sensing Salon presents a reading of Cosmopolis #2 performed through various tools such as Tarot, Astrology, Political Therapy and Reiki. Centered on an awareness of how emotional, societal and political dimensions are intertwined, the project explores sensing and sense-making as processes central to both healing and art. Desideri and Ferreira da Silva will lead tarot workshops with the public to articulate possibilities for intellectual and political agency through alternative, non-scientific knowledge systems.
